About After the Well

After the Well, led by Melissa, is for spiritually curious people who are ready to stop circling their healing and start living from their core design.

This isn’t a space for religious performance or endless processing. This community is for those who have outgrown religious scripts and surface-level self-help yet still desire a real, grounded relationship with God and Jesus.

It’s for people who are willing to be curious and honest about their story, take brave responsibility for their inner life, and align their beliefs with how they want to live day to day.

Jesus is central here not as a system to manage but as the living reality of union with God. Faith is not treated as theory, inspiration, or identity language. It’s embodied, integrated, and worked out in everyday life.

Through retreats, in-person and online opportunities, and guided conversations through mentoring, Melissa intuitively helps people move from insight to integration where theology, identity, and lived experience align.

This work is direct, grounded, and relational.

No hype. No spiritual performance. No hiding.

Just the courage to become whole.

About Melissa

Melissa Lapin is a teacher, mentor, and intuitive guide who helps people live from identity rather than image. As the founder of After the Well, she works with spiritually curious individuals, both churched and unchurched, who are seeking an honest, grounded relationship with God through Jesus.

Her work bridges theological depth with lived embodiment, guiding people beyond religious scripts and surface-level self-help into integration that shapes everyday life.

Melissa is known for creating environments where truth can be faced without shame, where faith becomes something practiced rather than postured, and where insight turns into real alignment.

Drawing from years of spiritual direction within the Christian faith, a three-year coaching certification, and extensive experience leading retreats and women’s gatherings, Melissa brings both discernment and practical structure to the work of aligning belief, identity, and daily life.

She hosts the After the Well podcast and leads retreats, mentoring spaces, and teaching environments designed to help people take responsibility for their inner world, reclaim their core design, and live with clarity, courage, and integrity.

Her approach is direct, relational, and rooted in the lived reality of union with God expressed through daily choices, relationships, and presence.
